Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our hiring process, the Virtual Interview, hands-on Coding Challenges, and joining the team at MK Partners.
The Virtual Interview
A modern, asynchronous video interview simulating a real-world conversation. Features live camera and mic hardware checks, real-time audio meters, sequential timed prompts, and comprehensive playback review.
The Coding Challenge
Hands-on engineering assessment hosted right in your web browser with the Monaco Editor. Solve real-world Salesforce, Apex, LWC, or full-stack problems with zero local machine setup required.
The Virtual Interview is a seamless, modern video interview integrated directly into the application process for select roles at MK Partners. It allows you to introduce yourself and share your experience asynchronously without needing to coordinate schedules.
The interview follows three clear stages:
Select your webcam and microphone from dropdowns, verify your camera stream with live video preview, and test your mic with an active real-time audio volume visualizer.
When you click "Begin Virtual Interview", questions are presented one at a time. Each question features a live countdown timer. Answer naturally and click "Next Question" when finished.
Watch full playback of your recorded interview and review the questions summary before confirming and submitting or advancing to the Coding Challenge.
The Coding Challenge is an interactive, browser-based technical assessment tailored to the position you applied for (e.g., Salesforce Developer, Full-Stack Engineer, Technical Architect). You write genuine code in an embedded, professional IDE without needing to set up a local development environment.
Full-featured code editor with syntax highlighting, line numbers, automatic indentation, matching brackets, and familiar shortcut keybindings.
The left pane outlines specifications, acceptance criteria, and schema diagrams. Click on any reference image to enlarge it in an interactive lightbox.
Every challenge has a clear time allowance (typically 30–60 minutes). A live timer is displayed continuously at the top.
If your timer reaches zero while you are writing code, your latest solution is automatically captured and submitted so you never lose your work.
